Due to the wonderful weather here on the Costa Blanca we are able to enjoy our gardens much more than in the UK. Whether you live at your property or only get to visit occasionally, it should always be a pleasure to step outside and enjoy the mixture of colours and perfumes that greet you in your garden.

ECPS can help you to create your own Spanish garden, one that can be enjoyed all year round. We are here to maintain your garden on a regular basis to ensure it is looking its very best throughout the four seasons of the year.

Help create an attractive garden

We give you advice on what to buy from the vast choices available of flowering shrubs & trees, fruit trees, plants for ground cover, hedges and climbing shrubs for privacy and shade, plants for your herb garden for culinary use and aroma, succulents for low maintenance, all to be bought within your budget. We can give you details of garden centres in the area and visit these with you if required.

Watering of plants

Set up an irrigation system that delivers water to flower beds, trees and containers.

Ongoing care

Discuss with clients the ongoing care necessary and advise how much time is needed to maintain the garden, which also includes regular weeding.

Winter cut backs

During the months of January and February some gardens will need a thorough cut back of trees and hedges to achieve the best results for the following year.

Tools for the job

We have invested in the best tools that can be bought to enable us to carry out the regular garden maintenance, this allows us to complete more work in the given time than other gardeners using basic tools.

Enhancing your garden with gravelled areas

During the summer months in Spain lawns can prove to be very costly to maintain with the need for continual watering. With this in mind we have created attractive gravelled areas for many of our client's gardens. Firstly the designated area is thoroughly sprayed with weed killer, and then covered in a thick plastic membrane to suppress any future weeds. The gravel (stone chippings) which can be bought in various colours, is laid on top of the plastic. Shrubs and trees can then be added by cutting a hole through the plastic and planting. This area can then be enhanced by adding a water feature, garden furniture, pots or containers. This then becomes a very pleasant area of the garden and has reduced greatly the cost of maintenance.

Throughout the year we will keep you well informed about your garden. If you are not able to visit your property very often we will call you to discuss the ongoing needs of your garden and email up to date photos to you, so you can see how it is progressing during the year.
